Overall External dimension is inclusive of the roof, which will have an overhang. Internal dimensions indicate the habitable space for your pet, and are inclusive of the size of the interior floor space. Pet Squeak Wood Dog Houses are designed to be Affordable, Durable, Easy to Assemble, and Comfortable for your pet. The Primary Wood in Pet Squeak Dog Houses is Cunninghamia Lanceolata, commonly referred to as "White Cedar" or "Stained Whitewood".     Some pieces flimsy

Easy assembly. A few pieces of the wood were rather flimsy and cracked since the grain ran with the length of the board. Glued with a good wood glue and the pieces set nicely. I use the house for several cats.
