Quality is not top notch, but it gets the job done. I use it to hold a JCAM (Go Pro clone) that I have tasked as a dash cam. I wouldn't consider using the suction mount for anything much heavier. A runaway shopping cart hit my fender at The Wally, and just for kicks I tried to pull out the dent with this thing. It worked! It's only 2 inches across but the suction power was amazing. I don't think there will be any problem holding a dash cam to my windshield.
