Company fixed the problem. *by B***B on October 10, 2019* After the first rain I had lost connection, when I checked the range extender I was able to shake water out of it. when I took it apart the inside was fried. IP66 waterproof must mean " don't let it get wet"The company reached out after I left the review. They told me it was under warranty and they would refund or send a new one . I told them they could send another and I never heard from them again.SECOND UPDATE!!!!!A while later the company contacted me again, with a solution for the problem. They wanted to send me a new range extender and an enclosure they made up so that I could bury it and keep it dry. I have received everything and it looks like it will work fine, I have not had time to install it yet, but they are making an effort to correct the problem.
