The beautiful design is what attracted me to it but it’s very nice and seems well made. I got this case to replace another case made by another company. That case was ok and served it’s purpose but didn’t offer the pretty designs. Also the edges of that one were plastic and cracked at the weak spots (corners especially where the plastic was thin due to control buttons). This case covers the edges of my iPad with a rubber type material which I think will last much longer. The rubber edges also allow you to adjust the iPad to lots of horizontal positions which stay in position as it grips the case. I also really love the texture of this case that you can see in one of the photos. Nice feel and looks good too. Also my old case had a clip to secure when you closed the case and I was worried how securely this case would close without the clip.
