She is in her seventies and I worry about her when she showers. I was looking for a bench that is waterproof and specifically built for this purpose. When the packaged arrived (via Prime), I was pleasantly surprised that no assembly was needed. It arrived in one solid piece and is extremely heavy, very sturdy with very little/no risk of it disassembling or breaking. My mom has used it daily and it has withstood any issues since I bought it about 3 months ago. Very grateful for this product!
