From the pictures I thought it looked nearly cream colored but it's right on. There are no instructions sent in the package. You will have to refer The the instructions in the listing. The spring retainer clips that are supposed to snap into the holes of the car can't hold themselves in on there own and kept falling out when I to install the glasses holder. I ended up putting the screws through the glasses holder then threading them into the spring retainer clips just a bit. Pushed them into their holes and tightened them in place. It's a bit fiddley but was still fairly easy. Also, I was under the impression that it was a damper/slow close type of hinge but it snaps shut pretty fast. Video attached to review. Was almost a 5 star but those couple issues kept it from that. My sunglasses are pretty big and they fit no problem. Looks like it should do the trick pretty well.
