Sandalwood is so expensive now and there are so many different species being passed off as real sandalwood that I thought I'd try something a bit Oud-y. This has a definite oud smell to it, but it's subtle, which is what you want, and in my opinion perfectly balanced with the other fragrances used.It goes on quite sweet and spicy, but settles into something quite dry and almost powdery and peppery. It's there all day too, since I've been wearing a mask for the best part of two years, it's really nice to take it off and still smell the perfume on your own neck wafting up after nine hours. Might not be one for the younger crowd, but if you like smelling like an old hippy then this is a winner. A fiver?!
