Wanted something to wear underneath my jeans, and these fit the bill. They were warm, but not suffocating. I bought the medium size- I am 5'8" and 158 pounds. They were a tad short, which was good for me, as I didn't want them peeking out from under my pants. The waistband was a bit higher than I'm accustomed to (the picture is pretty accurate- just under belly button), but again, that's what I wanted, since I didn't want them falling down under my jeans. The fit is good except that the pants were a little long so, since I know a little about sewing, I took off the cuffs, cut off about 2 inches and recuffed them. (This may not have been necessary as they probably wiill shrink in washing.) The wide elastic waistband is SO comfortable.I am very pleased to find these and will probably order another pair.
