Glad I figured it out, my old original one totally broke, wires all exposed, I had taped it together a bunch of times with electrical tape but it finally gave way. I didn't realize that the entire power cord was fine, I thought I would have to replace the entire thing, which is about $60-$70 without the extension part. But it was just the extension part that needed replacing and it's such a great deal.
