Half of our apartment is hard floor, the other half is carpet, and we've found that the Henry handles both surfaces MUCH better than any of the uprights we've had previously. Had the metal pipe fall apart first day and gouge my hardwood floor. Smooth stainless steel has no grip for a hand. Maybe the designer should spend a day with painful arthritis and see how easy it is to fight with an assembly of pipes and pieces that don’t stay together and slide and turn inside each other as you fight with them to simply clean the floor. My old vacuum cleaner had pieces that locked together. It had a handle to grasp made of rubber. Wish I had only purchased the vacuum itself. Excellent machine, would buy the again if needed. Could you explain?** A: We are sorry to hear that you are a little disappointed with your Henry purchase. We apologize for the out of date listing but would like to explain that the difference in what you received is actually an upgrade. Our motor was 1200 watts and the two speeds were to reduce energy consumption not increase power (it was called autosave). Since that time, we have worked to increase energy efficiencies and have been able to launch a much more efficient and energy saving 680 watt motor that performs even better than our older and bigger one. (Same water lift and CFM and recover 20% more soil than the previous version) Since our motor is now incredibly efficient, we no longer need to have an energy saving speed. Similarly, we upgraded the red air turbo brush with a better performing black air turbo (a German supplier and is the same turbo used on high end machines like Miele). I hope this helps explain the difference in what you received from what was listed. We apologize for the listing but are confident you will not be disappointed in the performance of your Henry. Mine had stainless pipes, dusting brush, upholstery tool with brush, crevice tool, combo floor tool and an Airobrush for carpets. **Q: Does this actually have an American plug?** A: Our NaceCare vacuums are designed for the North American market, so yes, they have the standard US plug. No way would I buy these attachments. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quiet, Capable and Cute! *by T***N on September 19, 2020* Henry is amazing. I didn't enjoy vacuuming in the slightest before I got him. I hate the sound of a loud vacuum. Henry is the opposite of that. Henry is quiet enough I can use him and have a conversation. Getting to the quality outside of sound level the standard nozzle is superb on hard floors. As long as you learn to tilt to suck up larger debris it works better than I would have believed. The side suction really pulls debris in well. The turbo brush nozzle is also fantastic. You need to adjust the level of suction on the nozzle per the carpet being vacuumed but when dialed in the vac glides across even plush carpet. Between both the turbo and the standard nozzle what makes using Henry so enjoyable is how well the vac just glides across the floor. I put forth so little effort pushing him along, but he picks up everything none the less. That's very satisfying to me compared to the upright vacuums I've been accustomed to. The last thing is the anthropomorphic quality of Henry. Though I know it's a gimmick it's a gimmick I personally love. Henry is like an enthusiastic child following me around just looking to help with my chores. His cute disposition also makes me take extra care not to let him get scratched or injured. As I said in the intro I have never enjoyed vacuuming but now I do it all the time.
