I can get a universal remote at any Walmart, actually I did. The reason I wanted a close as possible to the factory remote is because there are certain keys in addition to the Qwerty keyboard that are needed to operate ICE functions for example. I was aware there would be no Netflix button, and I was fine with that. The only thing this remote does is powers on the TV, adjust volume, and change channels., mute works, input works, none of the playback buttons function, info. no worky, home n/w, the directional pad and OK button no working either, menu not functional, go back, or last channel no worka either. Nothing at all works on the keyboard side. This remote looks nothing like what I was looking at on the desertcart site. Me a no happy. My $12 RCA universal at least gets the menu, info., directional pad and OK button. Exit button. Playback keys. The only thing I'm missing on my RCA remote are the RYGB buttons, Qwerty keyboard, ICE apps. buttons. None of the JVC buttons on the front or back of this remote do anything. The overall quality is poor in my opinion. The fit and finish is poor. There were no instructions or guide sent with it either. I'm sure there's a fix or work around, but I just haven't had the energy to go down that rabbit hole yet. I'll probably send it back for a refund. Lonely and Old in Colton CA.
