It fit the phone well and phone stays securely in the case. It is smooth with a slight grip to it which is what I wanted. My last case was rubbery so was difficult to put into and pull out of my pocket. This case is thinner and easy in and out of my pocket but still with slightly tactile in my hand for gripping. The top of the case stands proud of the screen by approx 1mm for screen protection. It is slim and appears to be durable.
