            Nutty, earthy flavour with popcorn-like aroma and a wonderful firm, but chewy texture when cooked. This deep reddish-brown colored rich has medium sized grains and more natural bran than white rice. The rice is also high in fiber and contains no gluten. 
Perfect for adding a colour variation and unique flavour in any recipe calling for brown rice or white rice.

            Camargue red rice

            First heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat. Then turn it up high and stir-fry chopped pepper and onion until they are softened and slightly blackened at the edges. Put red rice to the pan and stir it around to get a good coating of oil. Now pour in 15 fl oz boiling water and salt and let it simmer until cooked.
