I've only setup 1 so far (busy, busy, busy). The one i setup picks up sound fine throughout the room it's in. The other reviewer said that you have to be 1 foot from the mic, but in my experience that's false. He might have a faulty mic. This audio device does not have a problem with sounds far away or close and does not get muffed out by low or loud noises.
