The two changes are:- Original Floyd Rose bridge- Thinner Profile Upper HornThe previous spec RC7 had a Japanese made Takeuchi TR-7 PRO. The general consensus is that the German made (by Schaller) Original Floyd Rose bridge and nut is of a higher quality and delivers better tone/sustain. Whether or not this is true (I personally never have used a TR-7 PRO), the RC7 is routed out to accommodate the slightly longer length of the TR-7 PRO if you wish to swap bridges. IMHO, the OFR bridge is an upgrade in spec though.Overall build quality is superb. Fretwork is excellent. It's definitely a niche market instrument with it's active EMG's and ultra thin profile neck. But if you're looking for a US-made 7 string shredder.
