Highly recommend! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stays nice and fresh, but it's about 1/3 sunflower seeds. *by M***A on June 7, 2020* Volkman is well-known for its parrot products, and since I've switched to buying all my bird products (except for their basic diet of fresh fruits and veg) on line, I bought a bag of Volkman Seed Featherglow Large Parrot. I use seed only once every couple of weeks, and only 1 Tbsp at a time for each bird, as a treat, so I've had this same bag for a while now, and it's still fresh and bug-free. I guess I didn't notice that there were peanuts in this mix before I bought it, and I don't give my birds peanuts, so I had to pick them all out. I only use sunflower seeds for training, maybe 20 per week, so I couldn't just take a scoop of seeds for their treats, without stopping to pick out the sunflower seeds from it. So one day, I sat down and separated out all the sunflower seeds. What was left was only maybe 2/3 of what I started with. So if you don't regularly feed sunflower seeds, this becomes a very expensive seed mix.
