Review: Great Job Rockler! - For someone like me that uses a router occasionally, and #1 doesn't have the room for a big router table, and #2 doesn't want to spend a lot of money, this was the perfect solution for my Dewalt DWP611 router. I can just hang it on the wall to keep it out of the way until I need it. Cost versus value was just right for me. Of course for someone that does a lot of woodworking, they're gonna want something nicer. I added a backing/clamping setup out of 3/4" oak I had laying around to make it stronger. It is screwed/glued/ and nailed, to make it a solid frame and become one with the table. I've included some pics. Now when I need it, I can just clamp it in the vise, or to a workbench. I also bought the optional vacuum attachment, and it does a great job when hooked up to my shop vac. For the occasional woodworker like me with limited space, this solution works really well.
Review: It’s at least 30% overpriced and that’s being generous. - Update 12/23: I’m upping this from 3 to 4 stars, I don’t use it often but it when I do it works fine. It is maybe a little fiddly but not near as bad as other bigger ones I’ve looked at. it’s easy enough to pull the router out the top to change bits even though that means moving the fence. The table is MDF of course and that means everything wears and gets dented so don’t tighten (the fence) real tight. I’ve had it a few years now and nothing seems to have warped or bent, the leveling screws still work and are simple enough to adjust (there not being any frame under it to get in the way). I fitted a 13 year old Harbor Freight trim router to it by following some youtube videos and drilling new holes. My router doesn’t have a shaft-lock so I have to use two wrenches to change the bit and that’s best done with the router out. Original: So the adjustment screws for the deck height are allen head and probably metric. They’re also unusual in their coarse thread pitch - nothing like them is available around here. So of course right off I lost the wrench they provided and none of mine fit. Now I’m going to have to take them out and cut slots in them which is how they should have been in the first place. The fence is made out of three pieces of wood stacked and covered in similar laminate to the base. It works well enough and the lock down screws seem to hold, it doesn’t slip or hasn’t so far. It’s a lot more expensive than it should be and being MDF it’s not likely to hold up terribly well. Screwed to a board and then clamped to a bench it’s stable and doesn’t flex a bit. It’s useful but if I needed it more than once a year I’d have bought something a lot better.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it fit DW618?**
A: This table is made for a trim router, not a full-size. It fits just fine on my Dewalt trim router, but I don't think it will fit the full-size.

**Q: Does this fit milwaukee 1 3/4 hp bodygrip router model 5615**
A: This is for mini routers I don't think you'd want to use it with a 1 3/4 hp router.

**Q: Will the trim router table work with makita model # rt0701c?**
A: Yes. This is the trim router that I use. The pre-cut hole patterns on the clear circular plexi do not align to the Makita router. I used my router as a template and carefully drilled and countersunk the necessary plexi mount holes. It does work, it just needs to be fitted to the Makita. Very happy with my setup.

**Q: Will this work with a 18-volt lxt lithium-ion brushless cordless variable speed compact router xtr01?**
A: Should work just fine.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It’s at least 30% overpriced and that’s being generous.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good setup for smaller workpieces and occasional use
*by M***T on February 25, 2025*

I’ve got a big ol’ honkin’ router table for the full size “cut a Chrysler in half” jobs, but sometimes a smaller job needs just the colt router and a small table to work with. This fills the bill, the Bosch colt router fits perfectly, it’s easy to clamp the table onto a bench and run a dust collection hose to it. Just right all in all for the quick setup needs. The three screws setup to adjust the acrylic insert height are a bit on the crude side, and I’m not sure if I will continue to use the acrylic insert with nothing more than the weight of the router to keep things where they need to be what with a bit going thousands of rpm. All considered though, this is good for the occasional use I intend it for.
