TRIPOD LEGSThere’s not much to say about the tripod legs other than they are a must if you are getting the 80 cm or the 100 cm Hotdog Slider 3.0.Initially, I wasn’t sure if I needed them, but I’m definitely glad that I decided to purchase them.When using a gimbal with the slider, these support arms add extra stability on each end of the slider.The support arms are extendable, and they have an alligator type clamp on the end, so you are able to clamp on to anything you need. Each arm has a 1/4-20, making it very versatile to add underneath pretty much any slider.If you plan on doing any vertical, horizontal, or 45° slides, these definitely make the job easier! They are very lightweight and seem to be constructed nicely. If taken care of properly, they should last for a long time.Again, I strongly recommend for any slider needing that extra stability and support. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Helps to stabilize my heavy Rhino Arc II system!! *by G***D on May 4, 2021* I’ve been using my Arc II system for a while and it’s definitely a heavy system. When I put my rigged out Panasonic S1 with a cage a external recorder it can tend to dip when it gets to the end of the slider. These stability arms help hold it steady so the shot stays steady now. Even works with my not so solid manfrotto tripod. They seem to be well made and are not difficult to install. ### ⭐⭐ I really don't like being negative *by P***E on May 1, 2020* I am not a big fan of the negative reviews, however, this is a bit unreal. The connecting screw broke off into my slider 30 minutes into the very first day of our shoot. (I had to drill it out) It was an extremely low impact shoot. So low impact, we finished the shoot with the one arm that was left working. Maybe I just got a defective one. I had to leave town when the shoot was done leaving me no time to return the arm or arms for a repair or refund. Not sure if there is anything the seller can do about replacing what broke at this point but if so, I will let everyone here know. Like I said maybe I was unlucky and just got a defective part because the other one of the two arms held up great and did the job that both were supposed to do.The screw that is connected to the ball is made out of aluminum. Might there be a steel replacement?
