Are all parts made of hard plastic?** A: there are 6 pieces. 1 top, 1 bottom, 2 sides, a back and then the front flip down piece. They are made of strong plastic, but the flip down door can get a bit fragile because it's a tight fit. We've now got one that doesn't have a door that stays firmly shut but because the boxes are stacked in a wardrobe, this isn't really a problem.
