I don't have the instructions in front of me. There is a "wake" button on the back which would indicate that you could set a wake time, but in my opinion you'd be better with this clock for its intended purpose, and a "real" alarm clock for getting up each day. I had a little trouble with the initial setting of time on this clock, the instructions could have been better! And this clock definitely does not have a "dual wake time" capability which many regular alarms have and I wouldn't want to do without. **Q: is it battery-powered or 110v?** A: It is battery powered.
