The first thing you notice about the speaker is that it feels sturdy. When you pair it with your phone or other music device, the speaker connects quickly. The sound is clear and loud enough to hear from the next room if you are playing it in the bedroom and still want to hear it in the bathroom. There are volume buttons near the bottom edge to adjust just in case your phone is not close by. Under light use, the battery lasts a week for me, which is a long time. And last but not least, the mood light is pleasant and soft and easily adjusted. My dad liked it so much when he saw it that he kept it! If you have a phone with superior quality, that'll enhance the experience even more. My phone paired with the sound card in the speaker flawlessly. The lighting is beautiful and very calming which is what I wanted. The ONLY REASON I DIDN'T GIVE IT 5 STARS is because it's not user friendly when setting up the Bluetooth and the lighting to change colors simultaneously. The pairing of the Bluetooth is easy. Tapping the light from dim, med to bright, also a piece of cake. My issue is turning it on (it'll default to Bluetooth mode every time you turn on the lamp), and tapping to get it to change the colors upon power on and pairing. It would be nice if the segue was; Power, Bluetooth Paring, Mood Light Colors Change...
