It will not work for Team Asia as it says you should use 9 more. Also, we do use the trains on other boards even though they are a bit bigger than the original trains. I've included two images from different angles in the customer photos section of the trains on the Asia board FYI. So, they do work ok if not great in terms of size on standard boards (though they are a bit tight on longer routes), and there are enough for one of the two Asia boards. Hope this helps! Tony **Q: I notice a lot of things are bigger than in the original. Are the train cars the same size? Are they compatible with other Ticket to Ride games?** A: The train cars are bigger than the other Ticket to Ride games. If you really wanted to play other maps with these trains, you could make it work by placing them very close together. However, for the longer routes especially, you'll be really crunched for space on the smaller boards of the other maps. I personally do not use these trains for any other board so we're not crunched for space. **Q: Why is Amazon the only one that says this is releasing in July? Everywhere else I look says June 2014. So confused on the release date now :(** A: They've since updated the release date to June 18th. For what it's worth, some stores offering the pre-order didn't even have a release date until yesterday. **Q: Will there be enough space in there the box to store the cards if I put them inside card sleeves???** A: YES! I have used premium sleeves and store the train cards under the tins of trains (around 22 in each well) the destination tickets and 1910 expansion cards fit sideways in the wells designed for the cards originally.
