Yes it's too tight, but keep wearing it, and it loosens up.Onto my review.This cap is absolute trash! The seams are sticking out, the logo isn't affixed properly and it looks like it's about to fall apart.THAT IS WHY I LOVE IT!!!!...THIS is what a true and proper cycling cap SHOULD be like. I guarantee you that the same cap I got(molteni) will be wildly different than a cap someone else got of the same make.Most people who whine about "shady" quality are just weekend golfers and dentists who have more money than sense. A true cycling cap SHOULD look like junk. It SHOULD have loose ends. It SHOULD have funky logo placement. It makes each and every cap UNIQUE, and only YOURS.Cycling was a working mans sport at one time. Get over your selfs and wanting perfect quality control.They made this product as cheaply as they could. And it shows. Thats why you should buy one. I love it's retro look. Wearing it makes me feel like I'm channeling the forces of Eddy Merckx. I wear it often when I'm out on my single speed. I usually bike from 1 to 6 hours with this cap on. On a hot day or intense ride, it wicks the sweat off my forehead and channels it off bill. I've washed this several times. And, so far, it's held up to several runs through the washer. However, I think it's best that this be hand washed.The product is made in Italy. It's 65% poly 35%. It has nice colors and stitching. It has an elastic band at in back that should fit most heads. I can wear a small or medium sized helmet and this cap fits nicely and stays on my head even when I'm moving in excess of 30mph. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Cap That Brings Back Memories *by T***R on November 3, 2016* Love the cap. Good workmanship, good fit on a 7-3/8" head and it's loyal to the Clement brand.Back in the day (prior to modern cycling helmets) we road riders/racers wore bike caps all the time. Used to wear leather helmets and we put the cap on under the helmet to give us a sun visor. Other times we'd just wear the cap to ride in. We'd flip the bill down for normal riding and flip it up on long descents where we'd tuck and go aero.After all these years I'm still riding 160-200 miles a week and wearing bike caps daily, but not when I ride as now I wear a modern helmet.
