**Q: Can it be used for hunting?**
A: Yes. It is sharp, durable, and it throws well. But will take lots of practice if you are going to hunt by throwing it.

**Q: Can you use the end of the handle as a hammer?**
A: Technically, you could use your fist as a hammer, but should you? NO... This tomahawk is not a serious hard use tool. It may be an effective thrower, but the handle is not steel. Notice that the axe head and the butt of the handle are fixed with screws to a polymer handle. If you want a hard use hatchet/tomahawk then buy one that is one solid piece of steel.

**Q: Is the sheath Molle compatible?**
A: I would say no, the sheath is just a very simple one with one belt loop in the back.

**Q: what is the dimension from the blade to the end of the spike?**
A: Measuring from the center of the handle to the tip of the spike is approx. 3.5".  From blade tip to spike tip is approx. 7.5".  I think this may vary slightly from hawk to hawk due to edge grinding.

SOG always makes incredibly high quality items. This tomahawk is no exception. I've been throwing it for a few days and even after it hit a nail that was buried in my plank it only suffered a tiny ding, which I ground out with a diamond sharpener. Now the top edge is a little more rounded, which makes it even better for throwing. It is well balanced and the pommel is also really tough. I like the heft of it. My husband chucked it into an old stump and it went in about two inches. Had to use a crowbar to get it out. I've got other hatchets for cutting/splitting wood but this one would work well enough for any of those applications as well. It can really take a beating and the grip is super comfortable.
