Thankfully, these flip flops solved both of those problems!In the picture, I'm wearing the generic flip flops that you would find at Target/Old Navy. You can see how wide they are in comparison to the FLOJOS that I'm wearing on my right foot.COMFORT: These flip flops are made well and are definitely worth the extra few dollars that I would normally spend at Target or Old Navy. Not only do these shoes fit much better, but they also have a velvet-type covering so that my feet feel cozy - and there's even an extra pad for arch support! I have high arches so I really appreciate this feature.DURABILITY: The bottom of these shoes is made of a harder material, so it's clear that these are built to last. My other flip flops quickly got rocks and holes in them from walking around the grass, so I'm really happy that I found a pair that was made to withstand nature a bit better.FIRST WEAR: I did notice that the straps a little tight at first, but that's too be expected. After a few short walks to break them in, I can already tell that these are going to be my new favorite summer shoes. Also, the shoe bottom was a bit slippery at first on our hardwood floors, so just be careful if you are walking on a smooth surface right out of the gate. Here's to a happy summer! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A little disappointed *Updated* *by A***A on Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2018* I found flojos years ago in an outlet store, spent maybe $8 for them, but absolutely loved them. They're the most comfortable flip flops I've ever worn, and they fit really well with the shape of my feet. I always get a flip flop blister at the beginning of the season until my feet toughen up, but never with flojos. My old pair are so worn now that I decided to splurge on a new pair, and even pay more than double what I paid before. Right off the bat, they seem slightly larger than the old pair. But not so large that I bought the wrong size. Maybe the old pair shrank as they warped with wear? If that's even possible. Either way it's not a deal breaker. You can see my old, worn black pair compared with the new gray pair. If I go for another pair, I may try a size 7 to see if that's better but I suspect they'll be too small.Update: I went ahead an ordered a size 7 in tan and white to compare to the size 8 charcoal I already purchased. The size 7 is the perfect fit I was looking for. I'm normally a size 7.5-8, so I guess they run a little large. I'm keeping my review at 4 stars, because there is an imperfection on the tan pair. You can't see it under my feet, so I'm not worried about exchanging them. But for $20 flip flops, I expect better. I also didn't realize the white straps are leathery, not soft suede like the others. I will be exchanging the charcoal size 8s for size 7, and probably purchasing a black pair as well. I never spend this much on flip flops, that's how much faith I have in this brand. Hopefully there are no further disappointments. ### ⭐ Inaccurate product description is potentially dangerous *by S***3 on Reviewed in the United States on May 14, 2019* The description in the section "About this item" states that these flip flops are 100% suede. However, the stickers on the flip flops themselves clearly indicate that they are constructed of 100% man-made materials.Not only is this misleading, because clearly a suede sandal justifies a higher price than a synthetic one, but it's a potentially hazardous error to persons such as myself with a latex allergy. Many sandals constructed of man made materials contain latex.The description should be corrected immediately. Amazon kindly offered to "allow" me return them but is refusing to acknowledge the problem or correct the description. Extremely frustrating and disappointing experience.I'm also not impressed with the tag, which is inexplicably sewn onto the top of the flip flop - right where your heel will rub it. It's not soft at all, but sharp edged and scratchy. Not to mention after only 24 hours of wear, the tag was already frayed and looked terrible.If the description was correct and the tag was not so disadvantageously placed, these flip flops would probably receive a 4/5 for comfort.
