A: I have been trying to find out too. The bag saysthat they are cooked via a special vacum process. I have no idea what that is. They don't tast like they are fried. I think the chips are cooked guickly to keep their color.

Terra chips are delicious and they are actually nutritious. I bought them when my grandchildren visited because they are conveniently sized for day trips but they also enjoyed them at home. I won't buy them again in this size because of the price.
