These are a great alternative.Pros:1) so far lasting several hours. We got these today, and I blew one up and handed to my daughter to play with in order to test them. It has been about 5 hours and it is still lighting up just fine. Will last for a party, and some post party fun just fine.2) color assortment is good. We liked what showed up. Nice, bright assortment.3) light is really cool in the dark. We played volleyball in the dark living room tonight before bed and it was fun.
