## Description

Key Features: 2 in I grappling hook rail Durable stainless steel: long service life. Heavy duty steel: 800kg capacity (max) 2 in 1 design: gravity hook. Comes with a 10m 550 Military Grade Paracord Rope: perfect for outdoor living. How does the gravity hook work? When the gravity hook hits the target or the ground, it opens automatically. When you pull it up, it catches the target and automatically closes due to gravity.

Review: Built well good took to have for the outdoors. - Okay this thing is pretty cool. You can pick up things as small as quarters with it, even circular objects without ridges for grip. I added a picture of me picking up a fidget spinner. The rope comes pretied at both ends which makes it fast to put together, comes in a cloth bag, bands are tight, and the grappling hook has a cool locking mechanism with three points to lock at for different uses. I was skeptical buying this at first but I am 250lbs and I was able to hook the grapple and climb the rope.
Review: It does what it says, as far as grasping objects. - This is one of those products I don't have a direct need for. No, I am not a climber, the grappling part I wasn't that interested in. The gripping part, yes. The fact that it can be used a grappling hook, and comes with 33 feet of parachord, and two carabineers, a very heavy duty carrying bag....I couldn't refuse myself. I am the kind of guy that still has my ALICE pack from my years in the USMC a few decades ago. I have all kinds of gear, just in case. This one thing I didn't have. I just got in on July 5, 2019, so haven't had time to even mess with the grappling hook, another reviewer covered that pretty well. As far as the gravity hook, I wanted to see if it really could pick up a coin off a flat surface. To test it out, I used a year 2000 One Dollar coin. Its just a tiny bit bigger than a US quarter, but heavier. I laid the coin on an old worn out rug. I made numerous rapid attempts and within a minute had successfully grasped the coin and was able to lift it up and into my hand, and actually had to bump the jaws to get it to release. Now there is a trick with picking up a coin, you have to grasp it by its center of balance, or it slips out, but it can be done. That alone is impressive. For my continued testing, I grabbed common things. Car keys, pocket flashlight, a .45 cal round, necklace, writing pen, small bottle of aspirin, pocket notepad, wallet, zippo lighter camera (didn't try to grasp the camera itself, just aimed for the wrist lanyard), heavy wet towel, pocket knife, etc. I strew them around on the carpet and was successful retrieving each item from head height (I am 6 foot), and 90% of the time, only took one attempt for each item. I didn't try cell phone, simply because I kind of chicken I might crack the screen goofing around. However, most cell phone protective cases come with a way to attach a wrist lanyard....I don't have one on my phone yet. Point is, cameras and phones tend to be larger than the 1.5 inch jaw spread....but this tool is very, very capable of grabbing the lanyard and lifting a heavy, large object as long as there is something for the jaws to grip onto. If you drop your wallet or pocket knife down a ravine or something, as long as you can see it, and it is within range of that parachord, I'd say you'd stand a really good chance of getting it back very quickly. This review is for the gravity grasping jaws. The grappling hook I will test out as soon as I come with some safe ways to test it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid product, as expected
*by P***L on August 7, 2019*

I have not had the opportunity to use the grappling hook on a camping trip (bought it to hang a food pack), but I have tested it and it feels pretty solid. The additional locking mechanism also helps me feel comfortable that it’s going to stay in place. The fact that it can also be a gravity hook is cool too.
