That said, I have not tried to add anything but the water at this time. Good luck. **Q: Has anyone mounted an autofill on this to keep it full? Any ideas?** A: I have not mounted an autofill system on my Field Drinker---just began to use it and have been impressed thus far. **Q: How do you set the float valve so the water goes to the fill line? We've adjusted the valve, but when we do that, it leaks.** A: I found that the closer to the fill line you adjust the float, it seems not to have enough play to seat the float. Also. the plugs have to be seated pretty tight to make sure the leak isn't from there. I have had 2+ years of trouble free service since I did those two things. **Q: Can a plastic friendly tank heater be used in the winter?
