I am 6'2" and fit comfortably on the chair. The sun screen is perfect for a little relief and for reading. I bought 4 of these chairs (in blue)12 years ago and they are still going strong and look great. I just bought 2 more (in white) and was happy to see the quality is exactly the same. The only change is a slight improvement in he recline positive mechanism.
