I want it to only operate from dusk to dawn.** A: No, operates all the time as long as solar powered battery is charged. **Q: It sounds like it comes with its own water supply. Is it refillable?** A: Yes this is refillable, but am disappointed cuz it does not work! The sensor goes off every once in awhile, but it doesn't shoot out water. I've had this for appx a year now, it hasn't worked for the last 6 to 7 months. I'm very disappointed with the product, I had paid $100 something for this... **Q: What is minimum range of water** A: It shoots out about 25 feet **Q: can this be used with an RV Antifreeze solution so it can be used in sub freezing temperatures?** A: I would think that it is feasible. The unit has a small submersible pump that has a small screen on it that is susceptible to clogging if there is material in the solution or if it is too viscous. If the viscosity of your solution is low, I don't see why that wouldn't work.
