They're pretty heave duty and there is a good amount of room in the 2 channels for the wires to lay in. The reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is because the sections do not lock together. They just have a male and a female end that easily comes apart. Running over them with your vehicle tends to move them a little and spread them out away from each other, so there is no locking together. They should lock so that they don't come apart from traffic activity.
