I noticed they were being pushed off the mounts before they fell off, which would have dropped the phone, and that was when I abandoned them. I was also having difficulty getting them onto my spotter scope, but I'd blame the long rubber cap on the eyepiece rather than the device.That being said it seemed like a solid enough item and if it fits your kit I'm sure it would do the job.
