I was able to remove the weighed cylinders from my old rope, put some tape around them and then insert into the Gaoykai handles. I put the tape so that the cylinders wouldn't bounce around. With the rope's weight of around 1 lb. and the weights I have inserted in the handles, the total weight is not just under 2 lbs. BUT IT IS HEAVY! Going up from 1 lb. to 2 lbs. is no walk in the park. I usually jump for 15 minutes non-stop and now with this beast of a rope, I had to take a few stops until I build more resistance. Hopefully, this will help me tone my arms and back. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very durable and versatile rope, has lasted me for quite a while. *by K***S on June 24, 2020* I jump on rather unforgiving concrete at high intensity and this rope has withstood with only a few scratch marks to show for. Whereas other ropes I’ve used previous, including a weighted rope would get chewed through, and the handles would snap completely off the wire. I’ve has this rope for 5-6 months now training on and off, and I have had little to no issues. It’s the perfect bridge rope if you’re looking to move off speed ropes. Perfect for interval training spurts as well where you can max load. I’ve been able to perform every trick I would do on speed ropes, which I could not do on the other 1 lb weighted rope I had. I credit that to the ball-bearing system which keeps the spins and rotations perfectly align, with no winding. My only issue I’ve run into is the grip coming loose, and riding up the handle some, forcing me to adjust my grip, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Only wish it ran a bit longer is all. I’ve also noticed my grip strength has gotten a lot better as well, where at first my hands would tire out very quick as the rotations would add up quick, I am able to extend much longer now.
