Overall it's takes a lot of the product to remove a very thin layer of concrete. **Q: Will this work on cement mixture that was spilled on carpet** A: It will but it will just dissolve the hard stuff into a mush and you’ll still have to get all of that out of the fibers. There could also still be some staining and you will have to use something else to get the stains out. **Q: Will this work for concrete that’s under fingernails?** A: Not 100% sure but it immediately took it off the paint on my car. **Q: Parents had basement walls rebuilt; cement is now on basement old style floor tiles. Will this remove the cement without damaging the floor?** A: I used it on my vehicle and it didn't harm the paint. I would think floor tiles would be more durable than paint. I'll preface that I am a hobbyist, but concrete is concrete and concrete doesn't care who you ate.I make scales bricks for figures/dolls/collectibles and I accidentally left the bricks in too long, so had some cleanup.1st pic = the product2nd pic = the before dirty3rd pic = the first round of cleaning4th pic = the final result after touch-upTIPS - Read the instructions. Don't let the solution dry up or evaporate cause it's only going to harden. I spray, wait, and start cleaning. Midway, I spray the remaining again to make certain it stays moist/wet. Also, I don't spray with water. With gloved (nitrile) hands, I squish and rub the dissolved solution around to break it all up more. It will feel a bit like clay. THEN HOSE IT DOWN while continuing to work it with your fingers. Once again READ INSTRUCTIONS. After you rinse, let it FULLY DRY before you do a second round.I've used this on silicone and stainless steel with no issues. I LOVE this product! Tiles no longer available, falling off due to poor installation. Bulk of mortar was ground off. Used this product to remove remaining thin layer below the ridging on the back side. Carefully followed directions, used about half a bottle for six pieces. Did not work, even a little. Ended up getting a wire wheel for final clean up the porcelain tiles.
