I can’t imagine not having it.. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best oatmeal *by C***N on February 13, 2024* I can't remember where or when I first ate Silver Palate oatmeal, but I do remember that I decided there and then to find a source to buy my own supply and I've rarely been without a box on the shelf since. The porridge has a wonderful flavor, not like toasted oats, but earthier; a little bit nutty, and the texture balances perfectly between tender and chewy. These are definitely not 'instant' gelatinous oats, but they don't take forever to cook, either-- about nine minutes suits my taste to a "T". I like them either plain except for a bit of butter or with a drizzle of honey and a splash of 1/2&1/2, but they're equally good with fruit, nuts, brown sugar, syrups, jams, or whatever else imagination can conjure.
