    Get what you pay for

These mills produce a terrible finnish even on soft metals such as aluminum, on steel alloys you will NOT want to use these for a finishing pass. Two have already broken on me with only being used twice. The wood case they come in sounds like a great thing until the wood swells onto the shank making it impossible to remove without wrapping the mill in a rag and using a pliers to remove it. Pay the extra money for a Niagara cutter. They are made in America and the quality is multiple times better. They are cheap, that sums up the "good" side of this purchase.

Not so expensive so I was not expecting top quality. However as I was planning to machine aluminum and brass, I thought no big deal. Of course the first job I did was a 5/8 hot roll steel sub-plate for my rotary table. :-)  Anyway, the tooling did the job and held up just fine. The case they come in is not quite as nice as shown, but no deal breaker.

I may not be an experienced-enough machinist to appreciate the nuances between this set and something of "higher quality", but I can say that for the price you pay for this set, as compared to buying your end mills individual, the bang-for-the-buck is exceptional.
