( I see 3 surfboards in the photo)** A: Hello there! I have not yet strapped 3 Sups using this soft rack system. However, I was reading that it can hold 1-2 paddle boards. Here is a video showing 3 boards strapped using the soft rack. For example, as on many ford explorers** A: I really can't quite answer your question...but in your situation you would have to space accordingly. The rack makes it so the boards don't hit the roof, nor stop the airflow under it. (equal the top and bottom as much as posibe So, it gives the straps more of a fighting chance to hold your boards securely on a roof on a car at a reasonable speed and not loosen up.
