## Overview

The Vontron ULP21-4040 is a cutting-edge ultra-low-pressure reverse osmosis membrane delivering up to 2400 gallons per day at a max pressure of 600 psi and feed water temperatures up to 45°C. With a superior 98.5% rejection rate, it efficiently purifies surface and underground water sources, reducing operational costs by requiring less pressure and infrastructure. Ideal for professional applications in food processing, pharmaceuticals, and aquatic use, it combines high performance with economic and environmental efficiency.

## Description

The ULP series of ultra-low-pressure polyamide compound membrane elements are newly developed by Vontron Membrane Technology Co., Ltd. Working under the conditions of ultra-low operating pressure, ULP membrane series can achieve as high permeated flow and rejection rate as regular low-pressure membranes can, it runs under approximately two thirds pressure of that regular low pressure compound membranes, and can achieve a rejection rate of as high as 98%. It is applicable to desalination of surface water and underground water. It operates under approximately two thirds of the operating pressure of regular low-pressure composite membranes, which can decrease the investment costs for additional facilities such as: pumps, pipelines, containers and the operating cost for the RO system, thus increasing the economic efficiency. Applicable to desalination treatment of those water sources with NaCl lower than 2000 ppm, such as surface water, underground water, tap water and municipal water. ULP series membrane elements are mainly applicable to applications such as window cleaning, aquatic use, foodstuff processing, and pharmaceutical production.
