Review: Tool great to fix fence - I bought this to fix my chain link fence since it started to pull away from the pole. Very easy to use, fixed my fence, and saved money by doing it myself. If I can do it anyone can and I'm a 50-year-old female! Great price and works! My fence is back close to the pole after buying metal ties.
Review: It seems fairly rugged. - I have a 7 Foot Gate I put A wheel on so I did not have to lift it at all when I opened or closed it. I had to cut it back a half inch to get the wheel to fit between the gate and the End Post. I used this tool to take the chain link off and back on when I cut the half inch off the top and bottom rails. It did not have any instructions but after a few tries I figured out how to use it. It worked fine for this small job.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is there a video to watch to know how to use this correctly? It came with no instructions.**
A: I don't have a video but it is a fairly simple tool.
Hook the chain link fence up on one end then layout the roll of chainlink fabric (handstretching as much as possible along the way) .
Cut the chainlink fabric a few diamonds short of the post you are stretching to.  Install the tension bar on that end of the fabric you cut off.
The one end of the tool with the notch fits around the tension bar and the other end will mount on the post.
As you pull the handle/ lever of the stretcher towards the post, the fabric will stretch and you can secure the chainlink fabric with tension bands and nuts and bllts.

**Q: Will it work for chicken wire? Garden is 40’ by 40’.**
A: I don't see why not.  It is designed for much heavier fence material, so chicken wire shouldn't strain it much.  It is powerful, though, so be careful that you don't  break the wire.
