An added bonus is that they can be used as power banks to charge up mobile phones, etc. I was prompted to write this review as I've noticed others have commented that they don't hold much charge. My advice is to fully charge before first use to get maximum battery life - items with rechargeable batteries are usually shipped with a minimal charge, so it could be that others are judging battery life based solely on this.
