It turns the most reflective screen there is, into a perfect matte finish. My office has a ton of windows directly behind me, and the glare was maddening. I worried that putting this on would not really do anything to compensate, and that even worse, it would ruin the quality of the image from the display.I was wrong, this thing is perfect...very easy to install too.
