Simply snap the metal mounting clip (that holds the porcelain panel) onto the neck of the plug. This plug can be used by itself, or it can be used for a do it yourself night light project such as stained glass, etc., by simply gluing a shade onto it or using a mounting clip. The bulb is not included. PLEASE NOTE: This plug works best with traditional incandescent bulbs; we suggest a 7 watt bulb.
