Also how hard is it to squeeze in the highest setting, and how many reps can you get?** A: It improved my wrist and muscle strength Having lost it all due to hypothyroidism and age. I can now open jars no problem. I can't squeeze it on the highest but I am a 69 year old female. My husband has his higher and is ok. We both do 10 reps each hand daily. **Q: How many reps would make a difference? Do the different holding positions make a difference?** A: I do three sets (ten reps in each set). After each set I hold them in for ten secs. As they are adjustable you can make them harder to pull in, but I,d start on an easy setting and gradually over a period adjust them. After a couple of days use, however, he came to appreciate the design and prefers them.They are made of a durable plastic. The handles are ruberised and ridged for grip and shock absorbsion. They have a smooth, silent action.
