Review: Great Sennheiser sound and quality as usual - Well, I have been a Sennheiser customer since years ago, and this are no exception to their sound quality and great product reputation. I currently own the HD 4.40BT. Very well built, compact earbuds structure yet sturdy. Flat cables are practical and, even though there is no volume control, the remote for play/pause, next/previous, forward/rewind is functional, and I usually keep my devices at a specific volume level anyway. For those saying that they have no stereo sound or the bass is poor, please make sure you are using the correct earbud tip size for you. The box comes with several tips to fit your ears and make sure it makes the right sealing, so you can have the best sound quality, that is how earbuds work. And in terms of noise canceling they do good work damping external noise without keeping you unaware of the surroundings. BTW, when you use the right earbud tip, there is no issue with noises made by the cables when knocking or rub against the clothing or something like that. The mic has good gain with very clear voice recording. And another good thing is the storage pouch made of syn-leather to keep them safe when not in use. With that said, I do recommend them, I use them when not needing to be wireless or when I don't want to work with BT configurations in video call apps. Unless I'm missing something, it does not have remote volume control.** A: It does not have volume control per se, but it can be configured. There are +/- buttons on the part of the cord where the mike is. The default on an iphone is those buttons skip the song forward and back. In settings/control center, you can redefine these buttons to use as volume control. Weak isolation. *by H***A on November 11, 2019* Typical to CX300 I owned in the past, these buds are quite comfortable (small form factor) and sound good. Let's you indulge in sounds across the frequency range - which means lesser bass than your bass heavy earbuds. Passive noise isolation is below par though even after trying out different tip sizes. Hence I wouldn't classify them as the best commute earbuds given the bass is also not enhanced which would otherwise help in noisy environments.
