Machine arrived well packaged. Assembly is simple and straight forward (tools are also provided). All software files were emailed after purchase and provide enough information to get the machine running. I did get a 3 gal. bucket and drilled two holes in the top for the coolant (I used general grade anti-freeze). I did have an issue trying to get the spindle to operate, but turns out I did not have the controller in the PC mode. The customer service was excellent and responded quickly. The machine is solid, I have used it on wood, delrin, and teflon. I have made several molds. This is my first experience with a CNC router. I use solidworks to create the STL files and Mesh Cam to generate the g-code. One small note, I have a dust collector I installed with the machine. I ran metal ducting from the dust collector to the spindle and 3D printed a dust boot. If the metal ducting touches the spindle / spindle connectors during operation, Mach 3 will lose it's zero points and the machine will go way off course. Love it! *by J***K on August 12, 2019* This machine arrived in 3 main packages/assemblies. 1) The Base Assembly, 2) The Gantry Assembly, 3) The Controller Box and accessories including the 4th axis. The Gantry needs to be bolted to the Base (10 screws), the cabling guide rail/tray screwed to the base (4 screws), and the cable guide screwed to the Gantry and guide rail/tray (2 screws in Gantry, 3 screws and 3 nuts in rail/tray). The tools and hardware are included, but no assembly instructions. Simply looking at the product's pictures provided enough assembly details for me. I'd recommend lock washers and/or thread locker for the gantry bolts. Also, pick up a bucket for the submersible cooling fluid pump. I went with a 2.5 gallon from lowes and its matching lid, drilled holes to pass the tubing through the lid and notched the lid for the power cord. PC cooling fluid works well for me, and should help prevent corrosion and scum (as opposed to water), but time will tell.I'm enjoying learning and using this machine. Having never milled anything before, I'm finding all of the resources that I need to get me going are readily available and simple enough to follow.No regrets on this purchase.UPDATE 9/2/2020:Just over one year later and this machine is still going strong. Completed a lot of projects and have used this more than expected.
