Hasegawa is pretty reliable for quality. Review: Really nice kit from Hasegawa! - Kaga... Carrier Division 1 well that pretty much covers her history. No seriously Kaga saw the Pearl harbor raid and Indian Ocean actions before being blasted to a blazing hulk at the hands of US dive bombers at the Battle of Midway. As far as the Hasegawa kit of Kaga goes it is an old one but I suspect that seeing as how this ship was the pride of the Japanese Navy I think that a little extra was put into it. It is a fairly well detailed kat and should build into a good looking Kaga from the box. If you want, there are heaps of goodies to pour on it too. My only gripe is a rather puny air group in the box. Hasegawa could have put an extra sprue of aircraft in a fleet carrier kit! ## Features - HASEGAWA 49202 1/700 IJN Kaga ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001TPCWI8 | | Additional Features | Highly detailed plastic, Waterslide decals | | Age Range (Description) | Kid | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Art Craft Kit Type | model_ship_kit | | Brand | Hasegawa | | Brand Name | Hasegawa | | Color | Grey,Navy,Red | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 72 Reviews | | Included Components | One plastic model | | Item Dimensions | 2 x 5.88 x 15.5 inches | | Item Weight | 12.6 ounces | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 2 x 5.88 x 15.5 inches | | Manufacturer | HASEGAWA | | Manufacturer Part Number | 202 | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | Hasegawa | | Model Number | 202 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Paint Type | Model Paint | | Product Style | Classic | | Scale | 1:700 | | Seasons | All Seasons | | Set Name | WL202-49202 | | Size | Small | | Subject Character | IJN Kaga aircraft carrier | | Theme | Aircraft | | UPC | 885108518073 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Kid - **Brand:** Hasegawa - **Color:** Grey,Navy,Red - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 2 x 5.88 x 15.5 inches - **Theme:** Aircraft ## Images ![Hasegawa - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71vAZTXM6pL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good brand *by K***S on January 27, 2026* Good fit modelers.
