I purchased this for my son who wanted to use my old super deluxe 'boom box' that was collecting dust. He now uses this device with his cell phone to play music from the modern apps such as spotify & pandora, ect.  He loves this little device.  I paired this device with a small usb battery pack which made it portable.

I have been using it for a couple months without any glitches, mostly to listen to podcasts with acceptable sound quality. An improvement would be able to select a frequency throughout the entire FM spectrum instead of just the 4 preset frequencies.

Easier to install and use, but have a bad noise for reception. It’s like a USB power of transmission is not strong enough to canceled noises. I have another device, with 12v car charge interface, and we cannot listen noise when to use. Because of this noise, I post only two stars.
