Very light weight and just needs 2 double A batteries. Can be mounted or put on a shelf.NOTE: Brand new batteries will make it light significantly brighter than batteries that are low on juice. The room is barely visible when the batteries are low. I kept them because I don’t want to do threw the hassle of returning them.
