Can it be used on wood?** A: I used it on wood. Works great. Also vinyl siding. **Q: Could I use this to fill in small dents in my wooden cabinets that have been painted?** A: Absolutely. Fill...dry...light sanding...prime and finish coat. This stuff is just great for small and large dents , cracks, and nail holes. Gary Terry 46 years contracting **Q: Does this clean up with water or is it oil based?** A: It has a little of that oil-based small, but it can be cleaned up with water. I use a damp rag to go over the recently puttied holes and it cleans up nicely. I've had good luck with this stuff. **Q: is this the same as, or can it be used as joint compound?** A: I would not recommend this product for joint compound. This product dries pretty hard, so it would be a lot of extra work if you had to do a lot of sanding.
